KKR is consistently reported as one of the most technically rigorous processes in private equity — expect real modelling ability to be tested from the very first round, not just at Superday.
- 01First Round — Often a 45-minute technical video call with an associate — mental maths, a quick paper LBO, and statement-linkage questions, done live.
- 02Superday — A full day, 6–8 back-to-back 30-minute interviews with MDs and Partners, commonly including a 3-hour full LBO modelling test with real complexity (PIK debt, interest on cash).
